Egypt: PROVISION OF AN EXTERAL EVALUATION - Consultancy

The International Organization for Migration - IOM intends to hire a qualified consultant to undertake an Evaluation for two pilot projects implemented by the Migrant Assistant Division (MAD).

The consultant is to conduct an External Evaluation to assess the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability of the outcomes from two IOM implemented projects in Sinai and Egypt’s South. In addition, the Evaluation will serve to capitalize on the impacts of the projects, identify best practices and extract lessons learned. Consequently, the Evaluation will be used to outline the way forward for joint programming, unifying both projects to address migration challenges in Egypt.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Completed advanced university degree from an accredited academic institution preferably in Management, Business Administration or related field;
  • Five years of professional experience (or seven years for candidates holding a first level university degree) in project M&E;
  • Previous experiences with IOM and with UN specialized agencies an advantage;
  • Experience in liaising with national and international organizations.

Languages

Fluency in English and Arabic is required (final Evaluation report shall be presented to IOM in English).
