We are looking for an exceptional leader with ability to manage, implement and monitor a large Global Environment Facility (GEF)/UNDP funded project focused on Scaling up Climate Adaptation in Zimbabwe, with a specific focus on rural livelihoods.
As the ideal Program Manager for Oxfam you must be an experienced developmental specialist with substantial knowledge in working with partner organizations, governments and social movements. In addition you will have proven experience of Climate change adaptation, community resilience and livelihoods programming built on mature understanding of relevant issues derived from field experience. Significant experience in policy analysis, lobby and advocacy, and networking is very critical for this role. You would be required to have comprehensive experience in developing and managing various donor funded programmes i.e DFID, EU, UNDP, SIDA . Also essential to this role is your demonstrable experience in project financial management, including budget preparation, monitoring and management. This experience should be supported by at least a university degree in international development, economics, politics, sociology and humanities. Masters degree and at least 5 years experience in senior management role of this nature would complete the desirable attributes of the ideal candidate for this post.
