SCOPE OF WORK
Recruiters will assist IRC with its efforts in response to the Ebola crisis in Liberia. These individuals will work as part of a fast paced 3 month start-up recruitment team to ensure timely and quality national recruitment for the IRC Projects. S/he will be responsible for a portfolio assigned on geographical and/or departmental lines, including all pro-active sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking and salary negotiations for open positions in his/her portfolio. All work will be accomplished in a spirit of partnership and collaboration with the hiring manager. S/he will implement industry's "best practices" that ensure the timely selection of top talent.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in human resources, business administration, social science or relevant discipline;
- 2+ years of experience with recruitment/talent acquisition required; experience in an international NGO context desired;
- Advanced sourcing experience locally and ability to identify qualified candidates quickly;
- Must be able to handle pressure, working late as necessary to meet aggressive deadline;
- Demonstrated experience and ability to create, implement, maintain and improve recruitment strategies and systems in a high-volume context;
- Fluency in English required.
