Land O’Lakes International Development Division is accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for an anticipated USAID-funded project focused on the development and expansion of horticultural value chains in Upper Egypt.

The Chief of Party is responsible for providing strategic vision and direction to the implementation of program activities. S/he will work closely with all stakeholders and will oversee all financial and human resources associated with the project. S/he will ensure that the project is meeting the operational goals set forth in the program.

Candidates must fulfill the following qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a related field (business, agriculture, agricultural economics) of expertise with at least 10 years of relevant experiences;
• Prior experience managing agricultural development or value chain development projects funded by USAID or other major donors;
• Professional and relevant experience in Egypt is preferred, regional experience will be considered;
• Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Chief of Party or Senior Program Manager for a large ($10 million+) donor-funded project;
• Fluency in English (reading, speaking and writing) language skills, Arabic language skills preferred;
• Private sector agribusiness experience (management, production, etc.).
