CBM is an international Christian disability and inclusive development organization whose primary purpose is to improve quality of life of the world’s poorest persons with disabilities and those at risk of disability, who live in the most disadvantaged societies. We are looking to recruit a HR Intern for our Nairobi Regional Office.

HUMAN RESOURCES INTERN

(Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply for this position.)This position exists to provide support to the Human Resources Management Information System (HRMIS) that supports the Regional Office HR strategy and is aligned to CBM’s global Vision.

Duties and Responsibilities:• Data entry of employee information for all staff into the HRMIS.• Testing of the existing HR modules in liaison with the HR Manager and HR departmental needs on compatibility.• Maintain the HRMIS database and generates scheduled or requested reports.• Update the organization chart in the HRMIS.• Maintain a database of employee contact information.• Keep employee records up-to-date while retaining same details in personnel files and in compliance with applicable legal requirements.• User testing of self service modules with all staff. Required qualifications and experience:

• Degree in a relevant field: Human Resources or Business Administration.• Related work experience in a busy office and HRMIS will be an advantage.• Must be computer literate - experience in Microsoft Packages: Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.• Well spoken, with ability to communicate clearly and concisely.• Excellent written and spoken English.• Ability to cope under pressure and meet deadlines.• Ability to integrate into a multi-cultural environment.
