MISSION

The objectives in this position are the coordination and sanitary supervision of the logistics and

administration of the Ebola outbreak prevention’s project that the NGO develops in Koinadugu,

Sierra Leone.

JOB SUMMARY

Project coordination and supervision giving direct reports to the Unity of Human Action.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Medicos delMundo Spain representation in sanitary area/community mobilization

coordination meetings held with different national and international institutional organisms.

· Ensure the execution of working chronogram adjusting the activities to local needs.

· Supervision of the objectives achievement, guaranteeing appropriate monitoring through the

project tracking.

· Work coordination with Ministery services and with international and national organizations

that participate in the area.

· Elaboration of situation reports (“SITREP”),tracking reports andfinal reports demanded by

donors.

· Training in education for health and community mobilization for Sanitary staff.

· Training for hygienist personnel in enviromental control and desinfection activities.

· Coordination both of the expatriate and national personnel, as well as their project.

REQUIREMENTS

Education: Medicine and/orNursingstudies - prevention medicine perspective.

Further training: Project management training. Public health management training and previous

experience in outbreak responses shall be considered.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Languages: Fluency in English

Computering skills: Basic skills, Microsoft Office package

Availability: 1 to 4 months

EXPERIENCE

At least two years’ experience in sanitary coordination of international or emergency cooperation

projects are required.

Previous experience in similar emergency work, especially in Africa shall be valued.
